Pournami (Full Noon) Pooja
Pournami is a day when the moon directly and fully bestows its beneficial rays to human kind in addition to sun rays. On every full moon day jothi (flame) worship (Vilaku pooja) is done by lady devotees headed by Mathaji. This pooja helps the family for systematic disciplined living, for progressive uplift, for desire fulfilling, and for mental satisfaction. Vilaku pooja also gives the doer to dispel the darkness of mind and enlighten the soul in the path of salvation / self-realization at the later stages, if he/she invokes the inner light.
